Munster Poc Fada 2013

Week Ending 19th May 2013 

Cork GAA have released details of both the Seniors and Boys Under 16 Poc Fada Finals to be held on Pilmore Strand in Youghal.

Coiste Chontae Chorcaí now intend to hold a Poc Fada competition for adult hurlers at Pilmore, Youghal, Co Cork on Friday night May 24th at 7.30pm next. Coiste Oiliuna will also be holding an underage Poc Fada Competition at 6.30pm on the same evening.

Clare GAA Poc Fada Finals - Results

Whitegate Hurling Club hosted the 2013 Clare Poc Fada competition at Whitegate Racecourse on the 6th May at 6.30pm. The top prize for Seniors was €250 and Clare hurling gear while the top prize for Boys U16s was €100 and Clare hurling gear. 
Clare Poc Fada results; 

  • Boys Under 16; 1st Padraig McNamara (Kilmaley) 17 shots; 2nd Darren Doyle (Whitegate) 19 shots
  • Seniors: 1st Andrew Fahy (Whitegate)16 shots, 2nd Seamus Quigley (Bodyke)17 shots.
