The M Donnelly 2013 All Ireland Poc Fada Finals Launch

The 2013 M. Donnelly GAA All Ireland Poc Fada Finals was officially launched on Monday July 22nd by GAA Uachtarán, Liam Ó Néill and Uachtarán An Cumann Camogaíochta, Aileen Lawlor in Croke Park.

Brendan Cummins and James Skehill in Croke ParkThe line up for the All Ireland Poc Fada Finals includes a number of Ireland’s top inter-county goalkeepers including, former Cork All Star Donal Óg Cusack, 2011 All Star Dublin's Gary Maguire, 2012 All Star Cork's Anthony Nash and Connacht Poc Fada winner Galway's James Skehill, six times All Ireland Poc Fada champion Tipperary's Brendan Cummins and the 2009 All Ireland Poc Fada champion Jerry Fallon of Roscommon.  

The Provincial Poc Fada Champions; James Skehill (Galway), Eoin Reilly (Laois), Stevie Brenner (Waterford) and Sean McBride (Derry) and the four Provincial Runners Up; Patrick McKillion (Tyrone), Andrew Fahey (Clare), Gerry Fallon (Roscommon) and Cillian Kiely (Offaly) will all be on the mountain come Finals day.

Camogie Finalists in Croke PrkPatricia Jackman of Waterford will be attempting to make history by winning her fifth M Donnelly Camogie Poc Fada title in a row and possibly set a new course record in this, the 10th year of the Camogie All Ireland Poc Fada Final. Patricia will face strong competition from the 3 times All Ireland Finalist Catriona Daly (Galway), last year's Finalist Deirdre Colfer (Wexford), last year's Runner Up Martina McMahon (Limerick), Catriona Mc Crickard (Down), Bronagh Mone (Armagh) & Niamh Mackin (Louth) who also competed in 2012.

The M Donnelly Under 16 All Ireland Poc Fada will see Jack Coyne (Galway) Kevin McDonald (Carlow), Adam O Brien (Limerick) & Donal McKernan (Antrim) compete for the prestigious title.
