Leinster GAA Provincial Poc Fada Finals

The Leinster Poc Fada competition will be an “on the road event” held at St.Mullins Co. Carlow, on 11th July 2013 starting at 6.30pm. The course will be approximately 5Km in length.

Leinster Camogie Provincial Poc Fada Finals 

The Leinster Camogie Poc Fada Final was held on Saturday 29th June, at the McDonagh GAA grounds at the Curragh.

Congratulations to Wexford's Deirdre Colfer on taking the 2013 Leinster title. Deirdre was runner up last year but represented Leinster in the All Ireland Final finishing 4th.


Louth GAA County Poc Fada Finals

In the Louth Poc Fada Finals Diarmuid Murphy - Naomh Moninne with 44pocs took the honours with Gerard Smyth - Pearse Og second on 45 pocs. 
David Stephenson of St Fechins finished third on 49 pocs. 

In the Boys Under 16 Final Shane Connolly - Naomh Moninne was the winner with 28 pocs and Conal Myles - Pearse Og was second on 28. John Stephenson of St Fechins finished third on 29.

Offaly GAA County Poc Fada Finals

Cillian Kiely All Ireland Poc Fada Champion Under 16Offaly Senior representative will be one to watch in the Leinster Poc Fada Final! Cillian Kiely the two time All Ireland Poc Fada Champion at Under 16 has moved up to the Senior competition.

Cillian from the Kilcormac-Killoughey GAA Club would have finished 4th overall in the 2011 Senior Poc Fada Final in the Curragh at the age of 15 (had he been competing in that event). He went on to win the Under 16 All Ireland and set a new course record (last year) while successfully defending his title.

In the Boys Under 16 final Conor Molloy from the Coolderry club will represent Offaly. 


Dublin Camogie County Poc Fada Finals

Dublin Camogie held an Under 14 Poc Fada competition along with the Senior County Final on Friday 28th June in the Phoenix Park. The winners of both competitions were from Good Counsel Camogie Club. Kirsten Farrell -Good Counsel won the Senior event with Niamh Mahon - Faughs/Celtic in second and Ali Maguire - St. Vincents in third place.

Dublin GAA County Poc Fada Finals

Cormac Ryan was crowned Dublin's Poc Fada championBeann Eadair CLG situated on the picturesque Howth/Sutton peninsula was the setting for the 2013 Dublin Senior Poc Fada Championship. Cormac Ryan - Whitehall Colmcille’s, the former Dublin minor and U21 goalkeeper was the winner with 29 pocs and Dean Flood - Naomh Barróg's finished second, taking 30 shots.

Wexford GAA Poc Fada Finals

Mark Butler - St. Martins (in photo below - Curragh 2011) is the Wexford Senior representative going ford to the Leinster Finals while Darragh Byrne of Blackwater will compete in the Under 16 Leinster final.
